Board & batten pine barns and sheds

Our Amish-built HEAVY DUTY board and batten sheds have a rustic look that blends nicely with any property. These buildings happen to be one of our personal favorites; you just have to see the ‘beefiness’ of them in person to appreciate the craftsmanship. It is also a great choice for a ‘natural’ all wood siding with no preservatives, composites, or chemicals. The siding consists of board & batten-style rough cut Eastern white pine and the interiors are framed out with a heavy duty oak post and beam framing plus an incredible 2×8 tongue and groove pine plank floor on top of 4×4 pressure-treated floor joists. They also include handcrafted wooden gable end vents & heavy duty barn style doors with long black strap hinges and a black latch.

These storage sheds are available in five styles: A-frame, Quaker, Dutch Barn, Mini-Barn and our newest addition, the ‘Extra Storage’ shed which has a 5′ high attic storage space accessed via a hole in the ceiling floor using your own step ladder. The super long lasting 29 gauge metal roofing over purlins is standard! You may also want to choose an optional colored or clear stain, or just leave the building natural and over time, it will weather to a nice silvery gray.

MONEY SAVING TIP: Love the siding but don’t necessarily need all the heavy duty features listed above? We also offer any standard shed (2×4 framing, LP ProStruct floor, shingled roof, includes stain too!) with ‘Board & Batten’ siding. This version is just a 15% up charge to any base price on the LP SmartSide Siding price list)
