Our Amish built horse run in sheds offer your horse (or goats, alpacas, etc) a sheltered place to go during inclement weather or to get relief from the hot summer sun. They have an open front for easy access and they are perfect for placing out in an open field where shelter is often most needed. Keep in mind when considering your budget: any 12′ wide run-in shed, due to the 1′ roof overhang, will require additional delivery fees and a certified escort to travel the highway.
Our heavy duty Run-In Shed has a Quaker style (offset peak) roof with a 7’3″ rear wall and a 8’6″ front wall with a 1′ overhang. The maximum interior height from floor to highest point is 9’2″. Standard features include: Rough-cut board & batten pine siding, 84″ high (or 7′) front opening, 4′ high oak kickboard all around & a premium G-100 Galvalume metal roof over purlins. The base is 6″x 6″ pressure-treated lumber and each corner is reinforced with thick steel braces that include tow hooks. Yes, you can hook up your farm tractor and re-position these buildings if necessary!
